Cake-shaped packs suit Mr Kipling U.K.'s Premier Foods chooses canisters for bite-size cakes. Premier Foods is using a flip-top Sono-wrap paperboard package from Sonoco to launch its new Mr Kipling Cake Bites—bite-sized individually wrapped sponge cakes. Single-source queso cups and labels ConAgra Foods' Ro*Tel brand dips debut in shrink-sleeved PP cups. ConAgra Foods, Inc., Omaha, NE, has launched its Ro*Tel brand Ready-to-Eat Queso Dips in hot-filled, custom-molded, polypropylene cups. The cups are thermoformed by Printpack, Inc. at its Williamsburg, VA facility, and they're labeled with 2-mil PVC, 8-color rotogravure-printed shrink labels supplied by Printpack's Seal-It, Inc. division. Spicy chips receive fiery graphics Summer snack launches in two bag sizes—and with unique partnerships. Salem, OR-based Kettle Foods, a producer of all-natural snack foods, is rolling out Kettle brand Death Valley Chipotle Potato Chips nation-wide during the Summer 2008.
